Firm Overview
Experience leads to results. Our attorneys have many years of experience in all aspects of creditors' rights. The firm is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, and is affiliated with the firm of Dembo & Saldutti in Cherry Hill, New Jersey.
We represent creditors and lenders of all kinds, including banks, thrifts, mortgage companies, mortgage servicers, mortgage brokers, bulk loan
purchasers, bulk mortgage purchasers and unsecured creditors. We collect loans through foreclosure, (residential and commercial), bankruptcy,
(consumer and Chapter 11), replevin and of course litigation. We handle such matters in all 67 Pennsylvania counties and in all bankruptcy and
federal courts in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
We not only actively represent creditors and lenders both as plaintiffs in the collection of secured and unsecured loans, but also as defendants,
when sued for lender liability or for alleged violations of the Truth-in-Lending Act or various federal and state fair debt collection laws.
We also assist our clients on regulatory and statutory compliance issues.
Highest Rating.
Since 1997, Meltzer & Associates, P.C. has been selected to the Martindale-Hubbell "Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers in America" in the field of creditors' rights.
The firm's AV-rating is the highest law firm rating available and is based on an assessment of our firm's abilities by other attorneys practicing in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
Only a few law firms have attained this rating in the field of creditors' right in Pennsylvania. Our attorneys possess distinguished academic backgrounds, and are committed to
the pursuit of excellence in the legal practice.
Responsive and available. We recognize that our success is based on client loyalty and that loyalty comes not only from results but also from being available for our clients and responding quickly to our client's needs. In our experience and client surveys, we have found that clients value availability and responsiveness every bit as highly as results achieved, and many of our clients have been referred to our firm specifically because they have found such availability and responsiveness to be lacking at other firms, particularly at the so-called "foreclosure mills". Our clients can rely on our lawyers to be approachable, responsive and efficient. Clients have direct access to our attorneys and we do not screen client calls. Accordingly, our clients find it very easy to obtain direct communication with our attorneys and staff at all times. We know we are in a very competitive service industry and that dissatisfied clients will not hesitate to move their business to another law firm. Despite this environment, we have tremendous client loyalty and simply do not lose clients through dissatisfaction. We believe strongly that being available for client calls and responding quickly to client requests has been crucial to client retention and the growth and success of our firm.
Breadth of Training. At many firms, attorneys and staff are trained to handle specific and discrete aspects of the foreclosure, litigation and collection process, so that clients must deal with different individuals as the case progresses. Our attorneys are fully versed and have the requisite expertise in all areas of our practice, so that our attorneys can handle each matter from start to finish without being handed along in "assembly line" fashion.
